I got a few requests to post this photo. Here is Jennifer jumping over the dunes at the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Sometimes you can find a good dune where you can fall over 20 feet! Landing in the sand is like landing on a bed of pillows.
I took this years ago on one of my very first road trips. Jennifer and I stopped off at the Isle of Palms beach in South Carolina to view the sunrise. I took this with my old Nikon F-100 on slide film. I was still learning. See the birds looking for their morning meal?
Here I am jumping over one of the dunes at the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. This is the largest expanse of coastal dunes in North America. Some of these dunes can grow over 500 feet above sea level.
This is “Shadow”, an American Straffordshire Terrier. He lives with Ray and Diana Pashoukos at the Double D Farm.
